Our resident framer Richard Winkworth has had over 32 years experience in framing people’s art works.

“Out of the Box” solutions
The experience he has gained can create an “Out of the Box” solution to a customer’s artwork wanting to be framed.

State of the art computer controlled machinery
Some of the machinery used at his workshop is state of the art computer controlled. This enables many different designs to be accomplished.

Specialist heat vacuum press
The workshop boasts a heat vacuum press to adhere prints and posters ECT to a hard board keeping them flat over many years preventing rippling under the frame or mount.

The Mountboard used is Conservation Whitecore

We use a standard industry conservation Whitecore mountboard. 188 colours are available for your selection. For items of the very highest level of protection, the “Timecare” Heritage Museum Board is cottoncore  moutboard  made from entirely 100% cotton fibres and comply to the Fine art Trade Guild museum standards.
